Mallorca

Ah, Mallorca, it’s a lovely destination, not too long flying, continental yet different. This time it was the capital Palma where we decided to stay.

When I’m abroad I try not to go to the ‘typical’ tourist places and Palma does not disappoint. We never book beforehand, and look where people go to.

Not only does cafe Capuccino serve the nicest coffee, throughout the day and night (at night a DJ is there in Porta Portal). It was still slightly fresh in April yet is a lovely bone warming sunshine.

To the revamped Port Soller (playa) yet the ‘inland’ Soller is great and you can get there by the cutest little tram.

We stayed at hotel Bendinat which was a great, a bit out of Palma hotel, albeit a bit quiet for the time of year but it was only April after all. Whenever we went into Palma we took a taxi, which was a 10 mins ride. Next time we want to try and stay in the centre of Palma.
