I’m truly honoured to meet so many amazing people in my life. I cannot thank you enough for the trust you put in me to photograph you. I shoot from the heart, the gut feeling, ‘that’ moment, by being be I hope to invite you to be you.
I am a retreat photographer (more about that in a separate post) where I am the ‘in house’ photographer for the organiser of the event to capture the magical moments as they happen and offer my services to those attending. It’s at these retreats I meet my clients for the first time in person, having connected with them beforehand on Skype. You know yourself how wonderful it is to meet people via social media ‘in the flesh’.

Well being is a relative term. My girl has me considering this today.
It’s not simply a physical thing.
There are plenty of people who tirelessly work out to have super strong bodies, but whose personal or professional lives are woefully lacking. There are those who have riches but no friends, spirituality without physical strength.
It seems to me that it’s really about balance.
Well being is a multifaceted condition much like a soccer ball, sharing connecting sides with all aspects of who we truly are. How can we successfully have wellness in one area of our lives without it affecting all?
So here’s the thing: maybe I can’t cure my girl or make her body all better. But I can support her in all the other aspects of her life.
And maybe that’s her perfect balance of well being. Mine too.
