Crowns for Faires; where are the fairies who wear the crowns as they are the fairies of fairies
It was time for the fairies to appear. It’s not very often they show as they are very shy. They appeared while I was in the middle of doing a food styling photography shoot! They sussed out very quickly where the wonderful food was, especially the cakes. It was only with the strictest of instructions that they were not allowed to take a bit of the scrumptious cakes that Katie Cecil, food stylist extra ordinaire www.katiececil.co.uk made, until we had finished playing our games of tickling noses, swapping of crowns. How wonderful the award was when FINALLY they were allowed to eat the gorgeous cakes. They wore gorgeous, paperlike crowns and seem to be happy to swap them. The weather that day, although it was mid June, did not represent spring/summer at its best and the fairies were rather cold so we had to move very fast to keep them happy! And those wonderful but silly crowns would not stay still on their heads either. At least it kept them busy and therefore warm. Before I knew the fairies were off again, running around and playing another wonderful game.
Luckily I was able to capture a couple of shots of these cheeky and beautiful fairies in a meadow with deer, giant chairs, a pond, picnic, bouquets of flowers and lots more. The day was a day full with photography of food, lifestyle and happy children.
